World Of Warcraft Leveling Guide For Cataclysm

Some of you gamers might like leveling as a Prot warrior, sure it works with the Shield slam and Revenge, Shockwave can be nice as well. But if you really want to hit 85 fast then I recommend The Fury tree. The Titan's Grip talent will enable you to wield Two 2-handed weapons, but it works just fine if you don't have it yet, just use x2 1 handers, or a 2h if you got a really good one.

I'll tell you which ones will be the best Warlock build for your Cataclysm leveling below.

First off, put 3 talent points in Blood Craze. Now 2/2 in Cruelty. Get the Piercing Howl ability after this because this one is great for when you're fighting multiple mobs/players and want to get away. Now put 2/2 talents in Executioner and 2/2 in Rude Interruption. After that you should get Death Wish, this one will increase your damage significantly. Then put 3/3 in Flurry and 3/3 in Enrage. Now take the Raging blow and Rampage (You have to get Raging blow before being able to get rampage). Then get the Heroic Fury, this one is great if you're slowed by a rogue or an enemy that's about to kill you. And then 2/2 Die by the Sword, this one is great for survivability and will save you a corpse run several times during leveling to 85.

Keep putting points in the Fury tree, never put anything in Arms or Prot if I don't tell you to. Now, get the Furious Attacks, 2/2 Meat Cleaver and 2/2 Intensify Rage. Put 3/3 in Bloodsurge and 2/2 in Skirmisher and now you'll be able to get the best of them all, Titan's Grip. Get this one, of course, as well as Single-Minded Fury.

You'll now be at level 75 and we're about to move over to the Arms tree.

Get 3/3 War Academy in the fury tree then move over to the Protection tree and choose 3/3 Inocite.

After this you'll only have talent point left for your warrior build, it's not really important where you put this because everything that's left got about the same value to leveling, but Field Dressing is quite nice if you ask me.

Get two nice 2-handed weapons (Swords, Maces, axes) and start owning it up, the good thing about this Warrior build is that it's great survivability, nice self healing and of course, great for leveling. This one is also nice for PvPing (Player vs Player) but if you're going to do BG/Arenas fulltime then Arms is the best build. You can use the dual spec on these two ones because Fury is awesome in PvE, and Arms is awesome in PvP.

Assassin's Creed Revelations Review

Assassin's Creed Revelations

It's been a while since I've had a game to review, but I was able to get my hands on a copy of Assassin's Creed: Revelations recently, so without further ado, here's the review.

Score: 9.5/10

Recommended?: With honors.

To start with, I think it's fair I let any readers know that I love the Assassin's Creed series. I've played them all, and I think Ubisoft has done a phenomenal job with every title. I don't give the game such a high score because I like the series though, the game really is worth the score. I always do my best to remain unbiased by past games in a series, and give each a stand alone review.

After the events of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Desmond falls into a coma. While the group flees the Templars once more, Desmond is put into the Animus, and must sort through the last of Ezio Auditore's memories, so he can separate his own consciousness from Ezio and Altair. Both Ezio and Altair make appearances in the game, though the majority is played during the later years of Ezio's life.

The game play is similar to previous series, with all the climbing, jumping, and air assassinations intact. What really shines though is the new elements added to this game. I don't want to spoil all of them for readers, but let's just say there's a lot of completely new moves, and even existing ones have been tweaked and upgraded. On the downside, and part of what keeps this game from getting a perfect score, is the absence of certain other features that I think belonged in the game. Players may decide for themselves.

The story is really rich. There is a slew of new faces, but they fit into the universe and story that has been crafted thus far. Many questions are answered, including a lot of the hidden past that has slowly been revealed through other games. I won't say too much, but I've beat the game, and even with all the answered questions, there is still more Assassin's Creed to come. Revelations, though definitely a full game, was almost like a big stop-over, since virtually all of it takes place in the Animus.

One other thing that keeps this game from getting a perfect score is it did have some pretty noticeable glitches. Sometimes after I killed guards, the arrows over their head didn't disappear (which really throws you off when you're trying to sneak around). Also, the thieves sometimes would not steal from bodies, or two of them would glitch out and appear around the level as I ran, while the other two acted normal. Each of these two things I experienced multiple times, so it wasn't some kind of isolated incident. There were also errors in the subtitles, and as someone who loves subtitles, it annoys me.

Multi-player has been tweaked, kind of on the fence about that. It's still fun, make no mistake, but I'm not sure if I like the system in Brotherhood or Revelations more. Like I said, still fun, so no problem.

Overall, this game was a blast. I took it to 100% sync, unlocked the platinum trophy, and I still wish I had more. That should give you an idea of how good the game is. Of course, if you've played the series, I probably don't have to tell you it's good. If not, play them! They are a lot of fun.

Tips: Skyrim Leveling

Skyrim is the latest release in a series called Elder Scrolls. It is a very popular role-playing game that can be used on your PC, PS3 or Xbox. These tips have been collaborated to help you with Skyrim leveling up.

Skyrim leveling tips are very easy to do once you know how to do them and find them. The easiest leveling tip you can try is pick pocketing. It doesn't matter what you pick pocket as long as you get the credit for the skill. Raising your skill level increases your chance for faster leveling.

Dragon shouts

Dragon shouts are a very useful part of them game. However, you must first find them. In High Hrothgar ask Arngeir where the "words of power" are. After you find the word of power for a shout, you will need to unlock them. The only way to do that is to absorb a dragon's soul. But first you have to kill the dragon.

Use the map

The map that is located in the game is a very quick and easy way to Skyrim leveling. Not only can you use it to mark where you have been, but also to find certain areas that will help you level up faster. On the map, you can find the second guard barracks by the prison. Upon entering the barracks proceed to the sleep area, crouch down and sneak back and forth in the sleeping area. This will rapidly increase your Sneak skill, which will in turn increase your character level.

Speech option

The lowest level on your speech tree is learning how to bribe guards, which will keep you out of jail for committing crimes. You can go from village to village increasing your speech experience by bribing guards which will increase you level.

Crafting your way through Skyrim leveling

Crafting is a pretty basic skill, but it will help you gain levels. Just use your things you collect and sit around making the cheapest recipes around. You can work your Skyrim leveling all the way up doing this. It's a pretty boring way to do it, but it works.

Iron Daggers

You can start off by blacksmithing iron daggers. This one is pretty simple. The more iron daggers you can make the higher your skill level will go. Therefore increasing your Skyrim leveling

You can increase your enchanting skill by using your strongest enchantment spell on the villagers. The higher your enchanting skill level reaches the higher your Skyrim leveling will reach.

Skyrim Walkthrough Cheats

Use your staff of Magnus during your Eye of Magnus quest to easily get you through to the Hall of Elements. You can also boost your illusion skill by finding the rally and spell cast it at a companion over and over again. Another Skyrim walkthrough cheat is the Muffle spell. This spell can be bought from Farengar Secret-Fire. You don't have to use it for combat or anything; you can just walk around spreading it. It will increase your Illusion skill and very rapidly increase your XP level.

Lock Picking

You can collect lock picks from the stores in the villages. Now the object to quickly raising your Skyrim level with this is to break the lock pick not the lock. You can gain thousands of skill levels this way.

Dragon Towers

When you see the dragon icon appear on your compass, normally when you are running through the woods, make sure you check it out. There will be a dragon waiting there and the more dragon shouts you get the higher your Skyrim leveling will increase.

As Skyrim is still a fairly new game there are still a variety of Skyrim leveling tips and Skyrim walkthrough cheats to be found. But these should at least help you get started.

A Review Of The Xbox Kinect Console

You've seen the ads and heard the hype, but you're still asking "What is Xbox Kinect?" Well, never fear, because we prepared this short and sweet guide that aims to answer all your questions about Xbox Kinect. If you want to know what is Xbox Kinect, how it works, and what sort of games you can play with it, you've come to the right place.

What is Xbox Kinect?

Kinect is the motion control device created by Microsoft to be used with their Xbox 360 console. You use your body (head, hands, and feet) along with spoken commands to control whatever it is you're playing. Microsoft has taken care to emphasize in its ad campaign that with Kinect, YOU are the controller, so that pretty much gives you an idea of what this device is all about.

How does it work?

Okay, so now you know what is Xbox Kinect. But how does it work? What sort of magic lies underneath its shiny shell?

The Xbox Kinect does its magic with a powerful array of sensors. It uses a RGB camera and a depth sensor to capture and track your movements. It also has a multi-array microphone whose role is to capture your voice commands. All of these sensors are built into a horizontal bar, which in turn is connected on top of its base, allowing you to place the Kinect either above or just below your TV or monitor.

The Kinect also has a motorized pivot that allows it to track your movements across the playing space. Along with the three sensors mentioned above, this allows the Kinect to do full-body 3D motion capture with facial and voice recognition. Yes folks, the Kinect can - and will - recognize your face and voice.

What can you play with it?

Alright, we've come to the most important part: what games can you play with this thing?

Well, I'm gonna have to start off by mentioning Kinect Adventures. This is the game that comes bundled with the device. Kinect Adventures is a package of mini-games whose sole purpose is to give you your first taste of what it's like to play with Kinect. Its collection of games doesn't have high replay value, but it's pretty good for what it's designed for.

When you're done with Kinect Adventures, you can get busy with Dance Central, a popular dancing game that can impress you with what the Kinect can do. You can also grab a copy of Kinectimals where you can scratch lion or tiger cubs behind the ear and have them play dead. I also suggest trying out Kinect Joy Ride - a racing game with full-body jumps and stunts. You can get pretty tired out after playing this, I assure you.

Now that you know what is Xbox Kinect and what it's all about, I would guess that the next question will be, what's next..?

PS3 Vs Xbox 360 Game Consoles

When you are asked to compare between PS3 and Xbox 360, you are going to have a tough time deciding which is better because both of them are tremendously popular. Even the game lovers find difficulty to compare both of them too.

Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) is launched by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2006, a seventh generation video game console, followed by PlayStation 2. This game console provides functions like, online gaming, along with a high-definition optical disc format and Blu-ray Disc as storage medium. PS3 has upgraded and made gaming easier and interesting. Currently, two models of PS3 - 120 GB Slim and 250 GB Slim - are available. In the contrary, Microsoft's Xbox 360 is launched by Microsoft in 2005, followed by Xbox. Functions like Xbox Live, online gaming, option of downloading games, TV shows, movies and game demos are offered. 39 million of Xbox 360 consoles were sold around the world. Xbox 360 is available in two configurations - 'Arcade' and 'Elite'.

To decide which is better, let's consider their super excellent features. The Cell engine (microprocessor chip) in PS3 is more proficient than Xbox's triple-core Xenon CPU. It also depends on the graphic processing unit (GPU) to observe their performance to a great extent. Xbox 360 with Xenos GPU is greater than PS3 with RSX GPU. Besides that, Blu-ray Disc with a storing capacity about 54 gigs as the primary storage medium in PS3, in another hand, Microsoft Xbox 360 consists of double layer DVDs with a storing capacity of 9 gigs as storage medium. Both of them come with a hard disk drive to enable users to store more games on the console. It is very important to have more memory storage medium to store the online games and not a barrier to download games.

In conclusion, Xbox 360 and PS3 have their own advantages and disadvantages. Hardcore gamers will prefer Xbox 360 and people will happy with the PS3 if they are looking for entertainment device. It is very hard to choose which is better, it depends on which can fulfill your requirement in price, functions and design as well.

Anna has been writing articles online for nearly 3 years now and she really likes to playing online games. You might want to check out her favorite dress up games at Games for Girls.

What’s The Best Day of The Week to Buy Video Games?

Thinking about picking up a new video game? Don't do it on a Friday!

While it's no secret that retail prices fluctuate (sometimes on an hourly basis), the day of the week that you buy games, computers or other electronics can make a big difference. And, speaking broadly, the best times to shop are the days when you're probably least in the mood.

A study by Extrabux of video game prices found that as the weekend approaches, video game prices begin to spike. The rise starts on Thursday and peaks on Friday. Things start to fall a bit more over the weekend, but if you're really looking for bargains, Monday's your best chance to find them.

The average price paid on a Friday (which includes games, game systems and accessories) is $70.19, according to the study. You'll save more than $3 by waiting until Monday.

"Retailers recognize that early in the week is when there is the most competition to capture the attention of consumers, and this competition results in lower prices for consumers," Forrester research analyst Sucharita Mulpuru told Extrabux. "Fridays tend to be light online shopping days, so there isn't as much competition to attract consumers and as a result prices aren't as low."

On the weekends, though, the people in charge of monitoring pricing have some time off -- and the computers take over. While each company has its own pricing practices, the computers also keep a close eye on other retailers. When one drops a price, the computer will adjust its pricing to better that offer by a notch. By Monday, things are at their lowest.

It's not just games, either. Computers and TVs both tend to hit their highs on Friday and lows on Monday. Savvy computer shoppers can save $46 by holding out for Monday buys, while TV prices tend to fall an average of $21.

And if you're looking for a camera, Monday's the best day to buy as well, according to Extrabux. Shoppers can save $8.50 or so compared to Tuesday and Wednesday. That's because retailers often use cameras as traffic drivers for people who are back in front of their computers.

That's not to say you should avoid all shopping on the weekend, but it might be wise to focus on things other than electronics. Books, for instance, hit their lows on Saturday, while appliances are cheapest on Sunday (as demand for both picks up).

If you're really looking for deals on video games, though, an extra dose of patience can save you a lot more than $3. Dealnews, which tracks retail specials, has combed through its archives and found some pricing patterns about hot video game releases. In many cases, it comes down to how much you want to save versus how desperately you want to play.

Pre-ordering can save you between 10 and 25 percent, the site found, and sometimes that's supplemented with in-store credit. Even if you miss those deals, five of the six high-profile titles it studied saw deals offered within two days of releases.

True bargain hunters, however, know that by skipping the initial rush at retail, they can save real money, sometimes $40 or more. Most video games make the majority of their income in the first month. After that, they're shoved out of the spotlight by new releases and often see discounts.

Dealnews found that many AAA titles saw their price drop to $20 or less within five months of their release. You may wind up being late to the game, so to speak, but you'll also avoid falling prey to the hype train for high-profile releases (players sometimes don't realize how bad a game is until that aura fades). And the good games are just as fun months after release as they are on day one.

Video Games for Children - Helpful Tips for Parents

Children definitely like video games. However, it is a cause for concern to parents as a lot of these games contain materials that are not fit for children. Violence, bad language and nudity abound in some of these videos. Here are some tips to help parents choose video games that are safe and enjoyable for children:

1. Take into account your children's interests. For children who love animals, some of these stuff feature animals. There are also sports-related digital entertainment systems for those interested in sports. Others revolve around fantasy themes or challenging strategies. Children will enjoy the ones that are attuned to their interests.

2. Find out what other mothers are saying about their children's video games. Other mothers' comments are bound to be more reliable than any ratings posted on the packaging. You can talk to mothers who have children who are about the same age as yours, or you can browse for customer reviews. You can benefit a lot from other parents' recommendations and criticisms.

3. Consult the ratings posted by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) on the packaging. However, do not make this your sole basis for purchasing. They usually classify these software in terms of suitability to a particular age bracket. Read the reasons used by the ESRB for categorization, and see if they are acceptable to you.

4. Use the parental control settings incorporated on your kids' entertainment consoles or computers. These settings use the ESRB ratings to block out any games that do not fall within the ratings that you have specified. As these settings are password-restricted, you would be able to protect your kids from inappropriate elements even during the times when you are not directly supervising them.

5. Children like games that make them feel powerful and in control. Manufacturers of these software intentionally create videos that fulfill this particular need in children by incorporating violence. Try to choose those that children will find challenging and thrilling without being violent. There are videos that provide challenging puzzles and give children a feeling of accomplishment.

6. Avoid purchasing games that require too little effort from your children, as they will surely find them boring in a short span of time. Look for those that are intellectually challenging and which enhance their critical thinking skills.

7. For your young girls, find those with characters that encourage strength and accomplishment.

8. Choose dual or multi-player entertainment systems that help develop your child's socialization skills. Some of these intentionally require cooperation among its players.

The best way for you to decide if a video game is worth purchasing is for you to try them out yourself first. You can ask the vendor for a sample demonstration within the store, or you can rent it out first. Go over reviews and talk to other parents. That way, you can ensure you would be getting your money's worth when you decide to buy it. At the same time, you would feel confident that the ones you chose are not unconsciously sowing negative values among your kids.
